Delicious! Singapore prawn mee
Eating is a very big part of our travels. We both love food (but Angela more so than me) and we love to sample local cuisines. We get ecstatic when we come across a great local meal with a great price, and we get bummed out when extorted by a tourist trap.
After having sampled so much good food along the way, I find that it only makes sense to dedicate some real estate on this blog to food. I introduce the new category “delicious!”. There won’t be a lot of long-winded reviews, just quick highlights of the best things we've eaten during our trip.
To kick things off, here is an incredible bowl of Singapore prawn mee we had during our stay. The broth was deeply savory, brewed for hours with prawn heads and pork ribs, creating an unbelievable depth of flavor. Served with perfectly springy noodles, fresh prawns, and a spicy kick of sambal on the side, it was an absolute masterpiece of local hawker fare. It completely set the bar for the rest of our food adventures!
